Bella

This is my niece, Bella. I shot this last night, after dinner, with my XD-11/58mm f1.2.

Film: FP4+
Dilution: 1:100
Volume: 200ml
Time: 6:00
Temp: 70F
Agitation: Rotary
Scan: Neg

I haven't printed this image yet, but I had trouble with the contrast in the scan. I suspect it will print much better.

I just printed this negative, and just as I expected, it printed beautifully, with no manipulation. I wish scanning was so easy!

The thing is - manipulation is not just a corrective tool. It is also a creative tool. I like the picture as it is, but I would play with dodging and burning to see what else I can get. Start with dodging eyes a little.

Hi Dan.

My point is that the print didn't require manipulation. The scan is a different story.

Hi Jay,
How do I buy pyro-510 and learn how to use it? Also what films to you recommend with this developer.
Thanks
Scott

Hi Scott.

I recently sufered a personal tragedy and can no longer practice photography. There is a lot of information on 510-Pyro at photo.net, apug, and Tuan's Large Format site, posted by me, or other users. There is a small but growing community of 510-Pyro users, and I'm sure many would be happy to answer questions and share their experiences. I'm sorry I can't be more help. Good luck.
